This innovation in the world of products for certified window and door installation was developed to overcome various challenges encountered by professionals in the installation of internal doors, including:

The difficulties in correcting crooked or deformed wooden frames with screws;
The instability of the fixing in renovation works, where part of the old false wooden frame must be removed, limiting the anchoring of the new frame to the wall.
Internal pedestrian doors: what does the law say?
The internal pedestrian door is clearly defined in the UNI EN 14351-2:2018 standard, which describes the product as a " construction product designed and used to close a permanent opening in internal separation elements and for which the main intended use is pedestrian access ”.
There are no harmonized mandatory regulations on the installation of standard residential internal doors. Correct design normally requires a clearance between the frame and subframe of between 6 and 15 mm, in order to carry out the necessary flush/plumb adjustments and adequate insulation with filling and soundproof polyurethane foam. In the absence of mandatory regulations, the installation system is chosen by the installer based on his experience. For this reason, many installations, after a few years, have problems with out-of-squareness and joint failure .
There are numerous systems for opening and closing the door, of which the most common are:
Swing;
Rototranslating;
Sliding folding;
Vertical pivot.
For the passage light there are minimum criteria established by the Decree of the Ministry of Public Works number 236 of 1989 on accessibility, adaptability and visitability of private buildings and residential construction.
PosaClima InDoor Premium Plus: what are the components of the system?
The PosaClima InDoor project concerns swing doors , which are installed in most cases due to their ease of operation, sturdiness and cost-effectiveness.
The standard dimensions of the door opening are 80x210 cm, but the PosaClima InDoor PREMIUM PLUS system works perfectly for all width measurements between 60cm and 100cm.
The PosaClima InDoor Premium Plus system was tested in the Giordano laboratory, brilliantly passing the mechanical seal tests for Class 4 doors, the highest level for swing doors. It also offers a 10-year warranty on mechanical seal performance.
Frame alignment is simplified thanks to the special DOOR FRAME mounting templates. These tools not only help in aligning the frame but, during the foaming phase, effectively counteract the pressure exerted by the foam.
This particular mounting template is suitable for doors with a width of between 60 and 100cm and complete with universal locking clamp. Two templates are used per door, to be positioned approximately 20 cm and 150 cm from the floor level.
Mechanical fixing is guaranteed by DOOR BLOCK self-expanding wedges, which replace traditional wooden wedges. They are positioned on the upper crosspiece, at the corners of the frame, adapting to joints ranging from 6 to 22 mm thick. They avoid the deformation of the jambs and act as temporary blocking and permanent mechanical fixing of the frame.
The heart of the PosaClima system is the foaming adhesive DOOR FIX, which fixes the door frame to the false frame without the need for screws. This adhesive stands out for its speed of hardening (less than 20 minutes), for its excellent dimensional stability (+/-2%) and for its excellent soundproofing properties (62 Db of sound insulation).
Specifically designed for the assembly of internal wooden, PVC and aluminum doors, it allows the doors to be fixed without the use of screws or brackets, as required by the "PosaClima Indoor PREMIUM PLUS" system.
Special gun with non-stick material coating, designed for the perimeter joint of internal doors thanks to the reduced nozzle diameter and low expansion and optimized valve.
Flexible anti-crack acrylic finishing sealant to be applied between the wall and the side ties. Characterized by low shrinkage, quick drying and overpaintable, also useful for closing any cracks in the wall.
PosaClima InDoor PREMIUM PLUS is not suitable for doors with particular specifications (such as fire doors or security doors) for them, the installation system refers to the instructions of the manufacturer of the door itself.
